1979
In 1979, while working at the Elk Grove Village Post Office, Salvatore Intravartolo began marketing janitorial services during the day and accomodating new clients at night. That same year Salvatore Intravartolo established General Maintenance Services and began building his and the companies futures. From the one-man shop beginning all the way until the present our motto has been hard work is the key to success.
1980s and 1990s
Throughout the 1980s and early part 1990s Intravartolo continued to operate the organization as a part-time employment opportunity. General Maintenance Services continued to show signs of being a step above their competitors but Intravartolo was just unable to devote the time needed to seperate his organization from their competitors.
Mid to late 1990s
During the mid to late 1990s with the addition of a few key coworkers General Maintenance Services steady domestic growth began to blossom with exceptional growth.
2000 - Present
In January of 2000 a new owner was established. With the exceptional growth the organization was experiencing the decision was made to incorporate the company and thus King's Services, Inc. was born.
Today we have ventured into many different services and specialty cleanings and we will continue to strive to bring you the best possible service at the best possible price!
